Supplied Air Respirator Solutions
While NIOSH-approved respirators are commonly comprised of various component parts, they are only approved as a complete unit. The NIOSH approval for a supplied-air respirator will commonly include the: headgear; breathing tube; air regulating valve; belt; breathing airline and accessories. The use of components which are not part of the approved assembly results in a respirator that has not been evaluated and certified by NIOSH.
