3M Personal Safety Division is issuing a Stop Use and Inspect Notice to customers for Select 3M™ DBI-SALA® Cynch-Lok™ Wood Pole Fall Restriction manufactured between June 1, 2024 and October 11, 2024. 3M has determined that in the event of a fall and under certain conditions, these devices may not hold the load as expected.

As part of 3M Fall Protection’s ongoing commitment to delivering high quality safety equipment, we are notifying our customers of the following information related to specific 3M™ Fall Protection for Tool products. During internal testing, it was discovered that some 3M™ Fall Protection for Tool products produced between December 2018 – November 2023 did not consistently meet the required performance of ANSI ISEA 121-2018 or product claim.

As part of 3M Fall Protection’s ongoing commitment to delivering high quality products, we are notifying our customers of the following information related to a supplied raw material issue related to a small number of 7530T-1/4” quick links. 3M has identified variable working load limit performance in a single lot of ¼” quick links that are used on select 3M™ DBI-SALA® Rebar/Positioning Lanyards. The potentially affected materials were produced between June 1, 2024 and August 31, 2024.
