Paint protection warranty program

We stand behind the quality of our products and the workmanship of our certified installers. 3M™ Paint Protection Film is warranted to be free of defects in the material and in the installation.

Owner warranty registration

For each 3M™ Paint Protection Film application, the Certified Installer must complete a warranty card/hang tag, including the vehicle identification number (VIN) and the Certified License Number (CLN) assigned by 3M on the warranty card/hang tag, along with the name of the Authorized Distributor from whom the Certified Installer purchased the Film. This card will be provided to the customer. Customer must register online at www.3m.ca/ppfwarranty to validate their warranty.

Required information includes:

- The Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) - The certified License Number (CLN) - The name of the Authorized Installer

What is covered?
3M warrants that

3M™ Scotchgard™ Paint Protection Film Pro Series will be free of defects in materials and manufacture — including yellowing, bubbling, or cracking — for TEN (10) years from date of original purchase.**
3M™ Scotchgard™ Paint Protection Film will be free of defects in materials and manufacture — including yellowing, bubbling, or cracking — for SEVEN (7) years from date of original purchase.
3M™ Surface Protection Film will be free of any manufacturing or workmanship defects — for FIVE (5) years from date of original purchase.

**Ten (10) year warranty applies to 3M™ Scotchgard™ Paint Protection Film Pro Series 4.0.
