The 3M™ Prevena™ Plus Dressing is designed to help to hold incision edges together, reduces edema, removing fluids and infectious material into a replaceable canister. The dressing acts as a barrier to external contamination and delivers continuous negative pressure at -125mmHg up to 7 days to the incision site.

The 3M™ Prevena™ Plus manages the environment of closed surgical incisions and remove fluid away from the surgical incision via the application of 125 mmHg continuous negative pressure. More than 70+ published clinical studies in a variety of surgical incisions and patient populations have demonstrated that the 3M™ Prevena™Incision Management System is associated with positive clinical outcomes compared to standard postoperative dressings.
