3M™ Mercury Vapour, Organic Vapour, and Acid Gas Cartridge is NIOSH-approved for protection against mercury vapour, chlorine, sulfur dioxide, organic vapour, and hydrogen sulfide. These cartridges are compatible with the 3M™ Half and Full Facepiece Respirators with a bayonet-style filter/cartridge connection or 3M™ Scott™ Facepieces with 3M™ Scott™ AV-632 Bayonet Adapter.
Designed to enhance field of view and comfort on the job, 3M™ Mercury Vapour, Organic Vapour, and Acid Gas Cartridges feature a low-profile and swept-back design. These cartridges are easy to install and are compatible with many 3M™ Half and Full Facepiece Respirators, including the 3M™ Half and Full Facepieces 6000, 7000 and FF-400 Series. When used with the 3M™ Scott™ AV-632 Bayonet Adapter, this cartidge can be used with 3M™ Scott™ AV-3000 HT and AV-3000 SureSeal Facepieces. The 3M™ Mercury Vapour, Organic Vapour, and Acid Gas Cartridge helps provide respiratory protection from certain vapour and/or acid gas concentrations up to 10x the OSHA Permissible Exposure Limit (PEL) with half facepiece respirators and 50x the OSHA PEL with quantitatively fit tested full facepiece respirators. Change the 3M™ Mercury Vapour, Organic Vapour, and Acid Gas Cartridge within 50 hours of exposure to mercury vapour, in accordance to your well-documented change-out schedule, or earlier if smell, taste, or irritation from contaminants is detected.
