3M™ Health Data Management Reporter Training

The 3M Health Information Systems Division offers two levels of 3M™ Health Data Management Reporter Training. Level 1 training will provide you with the basic knowledge to develop the skills to begin writing reports. Level 2 will build on the concepts learned in the Level 1 training, and will show you how to create more advanced reports. The 3M™ Health Data Management Reporter Training or health data management (HDM) training has two levels and each one has six – 2.5 hour long lessons.

The 3M™ Health Data Management Reporter Training can take you from being a beginner to a more advanced report writer. Both levels are led by the 3M Canada's Health Information Systems Division. Level 1 The first level of webinars provide you with the basic knowledge to develop the skills to write reports and navigate the 3M™ Health Record Management Software. The six lessons are 2.5 hours each and include practice time. • Lesson 1 – Reporter and RDL Overview • Lesson 2 – Writing Reports (If… Then True, Or statements, etc.) • Lesson 3 – Listing Reports (Wildcards, Variable Loop, etc.) • Lesson 4 – Listing Reports (formatting and search features) • Lesson 5 – Summary Reports (categories and calculations) • Lesson 6 – Summary Reports (classifications and filters) Level 2 The second series of webinars builds on the concepts learned in the first level and shows you how to create more advanced reports. The six lessons are 2.5 hours each and include practice time. Topics covered, including practice time: • Lesson 1 – Introduction and Review of Level 1 Concepts • Lesson 2 – Writing Reports (Setting Variables and More RDL Commands) • Lesson 3 – Writing Reports (Occurrences and Classification Keys) • Lesson 4 – Writing Reports (Customized Fields, keywords, etc.) • Lesson 5 – Summary Guide • Lesson 6 – Writing Reports (Adding Level, Totals, etc.) Classes are limited in size and are filled on a first-come-first-serve basis.
