3M is seeing an increased demand for respiratory protection products following the outbreak of a newly identified coronavirus (2019 novel Coronavirus, 2019-nCoV). In response, 3M is increasing respirator production to help meet demand, and working with distributors to help ensure they have inventory to meet end-user demand. 3M is committed to supporting the public health and governmental response to the Coronavirus while maintaining supply to existing customers.

3M™ Secure Click™ Particulate Prefilters can be attached to 3M™ Secure Click™ Gas & Vapor Cartridges D8000 Series to provide particulate protection from certain solid and liquid particles when used with 3M™ Secure Click™ facepieces. Use the 3M™ Secure Click™ Filter Retainer D701 to attach two filters to each cartridge.
3M™ Secure Click™ Particulate Prefilters are used to add particulate protection to 3M™ Secure Click™ Dual-flow Gas & Vapor cartridges. Replaceable for cost savings: these particulate filters are designed to be easily replaced for a cost-effective solution without changing out your cartridges. 3M™ Secure Click™ Particulate Prefilters are only compatible with 3M™ Secure Click™ Gas/Vapor Cartridge D8000 Series to add particulate protection. Used in pairs, attach one filter to each side of 3M™ Secure Click™ Dual-Flow Gas and Vapor cartridges using a 3M™ Secure Click™ D701 Filter Retainer to help protect against certain particulates including dusts, mists, fibers, and metal fumes in addition to a broad range of gases and vapors. Help protect your workforce: 3M offers a free online tool to help you select the appropriate respirators, cartridges, and filters for your workplace respiratory hazards and contaminants and help determine cartridge change-out schedules. 3M Select and Service Life Software (www.3M.com/sls) contains more than 700 different chemicals and provides documentation of your choices. After you've determined the contaminants and exposure levels in your work environment, help protect your employees with a properly fitted 3M™ Reusable Respirator and corresponding N95 or P95 particulate filter. 3M™ Secure Click™ Particulate Prefilters are NIOSH-approved as either N95 or P95 particulate filters and help provide respiratory protection in environments containing certain oil (P95) and non-oil (N95) based particulates when used with 3M™ Secure Click™ Half and Full facepieces and a 3M™ Secure Click™ D701 Filter Retainer. These filters help provide respiratory protection from particulate contaminant concentrations up to 10 times the OSHA Permissible Exposure Limit (PEL) with half facepieces and up to 50 times the OSHA Permissible Exposure Limit (PEL) with quantitatively fit tested full facepieces. Not for use in environments that are immediately dangerous to life or health (IDLH) or require the use of a filter approved to 100 level filter efficiency (N100 to P100). 3M™ Secure Click™ Particulate Prefilters if they become dirty, damaged, or difficult to breathe through.
