The 3M™ Perfect-It™ Paint Finishing Pad Kit includes the buffer pads you need for compounding, polishing and finishing in collision repair. This kit contains one 3M™ Perfect-It™ Foam Compounding Pad, one 3M™ Perfect-It™ Low Lint Wool Compounding Pad, one 3M™ Perfect-It™ Foam Polishing Pad, and one 3M™ Perfect-It™ Ultrafine Foam Polishing Pad. All pads feature 3M™ Hookit™ Attachments and are designed for use with 3M™ Perfect-It™ Compounds and Polishes.

Use 3M™ Perfect-It™ Paint Finishing Pad Kit as collection of compounding, polishing and finishing pads to combine features that save time and money and improve your results at each critical stage of collision repair. In one convenient kit, you get: • (1) 3M™ Perfect-It™ Foam Compounding Pad • (1) 3M™ Perfect-It™ Low Lint Wool Compounding Pad • (1) 3M™ Perfect-It™ Foam Polishing Pad • (1) 3M™ Perfect-It™ Ultrafine Foam Polishing Pad. For compounding, you can choose the consistency of a foam pad or the cutting speed of a wool pad, without the linting. Our 3M™ Perfect-It™ Foam Polishing Pad is designed for removing sand scratches and compounding swirls while reducing sling. For finishing, our 3M™ Perfect-It™ Ultrafine Foam Polishing Pad is designed to completely remove polish swirls and holograms even from difficult dark-colored automotive surfaces for a showroom finish. All pads feature a diameter of 100 mm (4 inches), excellent for control and access in small areas and tight spaces. Each pad has an inset for easy centering to rotary polishers, and Hookit™ hook-and-loop attachment makes for quick pad change-outs. We developed each of these pads as part of our Perfect-It™ Paint Finishing System to keep pace with evolving paint and clear coat technologies. Our foam compounding pads are generally less aggressive and produce a finer finish than wool pads, ideal for the critical compounding steps of paint refinishing. Wool compounding pads generally deliver higher cutting speed. The 3M™ Perfect-It™ Low Lint Wool Compounding Pad included in the kit is made from 100% wool and has a low-linting feature which virtually eliminates tiny lint residue on the automotive surface. All pads are designed for use with 3M™ Perfect-It™ EX Rubbing Compound, 3M™ Perfect-It™ EX Machine Polish and 3M™ Perfect-It™ EX Ultrafine Machine Polish. 3M recommends using these pads with 3M™ Random Orbital Pistol Grip Sander.

Suggested applications
