3M™ Perfect-It™ Foam Finishing Pad 4-inch is designed as a combination of traditional compounding pad and polishing pad, eliminating the need for multiple pads and multiple repair steps. It works with 3M™ Perfect-It™ 1-Step Finishing Material, which cuts like a compound but handles like a polish to remove 3M™ Trizact™ Abrasives grade 3000 or finer scratches for a high gloss finish and minimal swirl marks.

Use 3M™ Perfect-It™ Foam Finishing Pad with 3M™ Perfect-It™ 1-Step Finishing Material to help achieve a high-gloss finish in fewer steps, without the need for traditional compounding and polishing pads. This combination of pad and finishing material delivers the cut of a compound with the handling of a polish, eliminating 3M™ Trizact™ Abrasives grade 3000 or finer sand scratches. The result is faster final paint finishing with minimal swirl marks, using less material. Foam finishing pads are generally less aggressive and produce a finer finish than wool pads, ideal for the critical finishing steps of paint refinishing. These single-sided pads feature insets for easy centering on rotary polishers, and Hookit™ hook-and-loop attachment for fast and easy change-outs. A reverse taper protects the edge of the backing pad, helping reduce the chance of damage to the automotive finish.
