The 3M™ Bair Hugger™ System has revolutionized forced-air warming by providing clinicians access to comfort and clinical warming--in one product--throughout the perioperative process.
With the 3M™ Bair Hugger™ gown, patients may be prewarmed before surgery then clinically warmed during surgery when connected to a Bair Hugger temperature management unit. The gown continues to warm in PACU, with both comfort and clinical capabilities. Plus, only this system offers patient adjustable warming, allowing patients to adjust the temperature of the air flowing through the gown to a level that’s right for them. Lower extremities are often cold before and after surgery. Booties, in conjunction with the gown, can help keep the patient comfortable.
