The 3M™ Cold Shrink Silicone Rubber 3/C Cable Breakout Boots 8560 Series is made of a dark gray silicone rubber and protects the phase leg breakout of 3 way medium voltage power cables. It shields power cables from moisture, contamination, corrosion, ozone, UV radiation, physical contact and other hazards in associated environments. It allows quick installation while accommodating a wide range of cables.

The 3M™ Cold Shrink Silicone Rubber 3/C Cable Breakout Boots 8560 Series features an open end and is factory expanded and mounted on a removable plastic core. When the supporting cores inside the boot are removed, this prestretched boot shrinks to the predetermined diameter, creating an environmental enclosure for individual cable phase legs and the overall cable jacket. It can be used in conjunction with cold shrink silicone rubber termination assemblies and RJS Series rejacketing sleeves for shielded power cable terminating applications. It's compatible with cold shrink silicone rubber termination products and RJS Series phase rejacketing sleeves. RoHS 2011/65/EU Compliant.
