3M™ Repulpable Single Coated Splicing Tape is designed primarily for butt splicing LWC paper grades. It has a single-coated, repulpable construction using a release coated, semi-bleached, off-white kraft paper backing and a blue, repulpable adhesive.
3M™ Repulpable Single Coated Splicing Tape is used for splicing light-weight coated papers, particularly gravure papers. 3M™ Repulpable Single Coated Splicing Tape performs well in many other finished splice applications – even with "alkaline coatings" and stearate sizing. Coatings and inks do not anchor to the back side of this tape.
