3M™ QSII Molded Rubber Splice Kit 5452 is a one-piece inline splice kit designed for use on 25 kV concenetric neutral (CN) and jacketed concentric neutral (JNC) cable. Each kit makes one splice.
Each splice is a one-piece molded design made of specially formulated, peroxide cured EPDM rubbers. The continuous current rating of each splice is equal to the current rating of the cable it is sized to accommodate. 3M™ Molded Rubber QSII 5452 exceeds requirements of IEEE Standard 404 for cable joints. In additon to 5451, the 3M™ Cold Shrink Jacketing Kit SJ-2A is needed for JCN cable applications. Each kit contains: 1 molded rubber splice body, 1 porta-pencil, 2 packets of silicone grease, 1 template, 1 instruction sheet.
