3M™ Cable Grounding Kit 2253 has a conductor range of 2-4/0 AWG. Each kit includes one roll of Scotch® Rubber Mastic Tape 2228, one roll of Scotch® Super 33+™ Vinyl Electric Tape, one tin-plated copper 3M™ C-tap Connector, one 10 inch (25.4 cm) length of tin plated 3M™ Copper Braid, one 3M™ Mastic Seal Strip, one 3M™ Constant Force Spring and one instruction booklet.
3M™ Cable Grounding Kit 2253 provides a simple, reliable and secure method for grounding and jacket resealing of direct buried distribution cables. The kit is designed for use with all solid dielectric, shielded cables ranging in size from 250-500 kcmil, rated through 35 kV.
