3M™ Cold Shrink QS-III Cross-Bond Cable Splice Kit 5468A-XB Series is an inline splice designed for joining 35 kV jacketed concentric neutral (JCN) and concentric neutral (CN) power cables. The kit ensures a greater reliability when each splice is high-voltage production tested. It features a cold shrink design that is used to fit MV-90-type or MV-105-type cables, and is suitable for aluminum and copper conductors.
This kit includes one 3M™ Cold Shrink 5468A Silicone Rubber Splice Body, one 3M™ Cold Shrink Folded Jacketing Tube, three red compound tubes (non-silicone grease), ten Scotch® Mastic Sealing Strips 2230, four rolls of Scotch® Rubber Mastic Tape 2228, one 3M™ Cable Cleaning Kit CC-2, one Instruction Booklet, one Shielding Sleeve, one Constant Force Spring, two connector adapters, one 3M™ Cold Shrink Tube, one roll of Scotch® Vinyl Electrical Tape Super 33+™, and two cable preparation templates.
