3M™ Cold Shrink QS-III Splice Kit 5797A-MT is designed for splicing armored or non-armored, 35 kV shielded power cables. The cold shrink design ensures quick installation and excellent cable size transitions. This splice kit is perfect for use in cable trays, cable racks, junction boxes and cable hangers, as well as aerial and wet or dry locations.
This kit includes three 3M™ Cold Shrink Silicone Rubber Splice Bodies, three 3M™ Cold Shrink Adapter Tubes, two 3M™ Cold Shrink Jacketing Tubes, two 3M™ Red Compound Tubes P55/R, one 3M™ Cable Preparation Kit CC-2, one roll of Scotch® 33+ Vinyl Electrical Tape, two rolls of Scotch® Super 88 Vinyl Electrical Tape, two rolls of 3M™ Scotch-Seal™ Mastic Tape 2229, one roll of Scotch® Electrical Shielding Tape 24, one roll of Scotch® Rubber Mastic Tape 2228, three metallic shield sleeves, six constant force spring shield connectors, one armor-to-armor continuity braid, six strips of copper foil tape, gloves, and an instruction sheet.
