3M™ Hi-Amp Accessory Grounding Kit 8473 helps provide a fault current capacity of 15000 amps for 15 cycles on 15, 25, and 35 kV class cables. Each kit contains: One 3M™ PST Cold Shrink Tube, one 3M™ Mastic Seal Strip, one 3M™ Constant Force Spring, one 3M™ Preformed Ground Braid and one Instruction Sheet.
3M™ Hi-Amp Accessory Grounding Kit 8473 is designed to accommodate the grounding of accessories installed on longitudinally corrugated (LC) heavy-duty tape and conventional tape shielded power cables.
Suggested applications
- To ground 600 Amp elbows and other accessories where cable jacket-to-accessory sealing and high-ampacity grounding is desired
