The Scotch-Brite™ Bench Motor Wheel is a unitized wheel that cleans and finishes in a single step. It is excellent for cleaning, deburring, blending, finishing or polishing all types of metals, composites, or plastics, and is primarily used on fibreglass parts in automotive shops. You can use this wheel on a bench grinder to make it easier to manipulate the workpiece for optimal cleaning and polishing.

Our ultra-durable Scotch-Brite™ Bench Motor Wheel has a tough, tightly layered construction that can take on challenging surfaces while reducing the need for rework or additional finishing steps. Constructed with quick-cutting aluminum oxide abrasive, it removes burrs without gouging or marring the work surface, leaves a clean edge without smearing, and produces consistent results. The wheel's open web construction also minimizes heat buildup during operation, making it a good choice for use on heat sensitive materials. The wheel edge can be dressed to match part geometry or to refresh the abrasive.

Suggested applications
  • Use this wheel for cleaning, deburring, blending, finishing, and polishing on a variety of metals, including ferrous alloys, as well as on fibreglass and plastics
  • Woodworking and metalworking
