The 3M™ Fibre Disc Back-up Pad is a tough abrasive sanding disc pad designed for right angled sanders. It is compatible with a wide range of 3M face plates. Designed to reduce vibration and chunking that can degrade effectiveness, the disc pad can maximise abrasive disc life. The pad fastens securely to grinding tools with a disc retainer nut (sold separately).

Use the 3M™ Fibre Disc Back-up Pad to provide firm consistent support for your 3M™ Fibre Discs on right angle and other sanding and grinding tools. Vulcanized fibre backing on the abrasive disc helps it conform to surface contours for a smooth, consistent finish during grinding and sanding. It is also compatible with a range of face plates. The 3M™ Fibre Disc Back-up Pad helps ensure that the ceramic mineral abrasive on the Fibre Disc will continually self-fracture as designed for extended cut life, instead of breaking off in unused chunks. The center hole mount attaches firmly to grinding and sanding tools using a disc retainer nut (sold separately).
