3M™ Stikit™ Low Profile Abrasive Disc Back-up Pad, 05656, 6 in (15.24 cm), 10/Case

The 3M™ Stikit™ Low Profile Abrasive Disc Back-up Pad provides secure attachment for a 3M™ Stikit™ Disc (sold separately) on a random orbital sander or other rotary tool. This lightweight, shock-resistant backup pad is constructed of firm density foam for sanding flat surfaces and has a tapered edge for applications where some flexibility is needed.

Use the 3M™ Stikit™ Low Profile Abrasive Disc Back-up Pad for quick and easy changes between different abrasive grades or tasks. Each Stikit™ disc has a pressure-sensitive adhesive on the back allowing it to be easily applied and removed without any residue. The tapered design adapts to small contours and tight spaces, making it ideal for detailed work. While some Stikit™ backup pads have holes to improve dust extraction, the low-profile version does not, which can be useful when dust control isn’t a priority. Its 150 mm (6-inch) diameter and 9.5 mm (3/8-inch) thickness offer a hard, low-profile surface, well-suited for leveling and flattening. This sturdy pad effectively smooths out surface imperfections without flexing, making it a solid choice when consistent results are needed.
