3M™ Stikit™ Gold Disc 216U is precision-coated for long life and exceptionally smooth auto body finishing. It features light A-weight paper backing with sharp, durable aluminium oxide abrasive – a fast, aggressive cut, yet a uniform finish, good for featheredging, primer sanding and scuffing. The disc roll features easy tear-off Stikit™ discs with adhesive backing for fast, easy change-outs.

Use the 3M™ Stikit™ Gold Disc 216U for precision sanding, as a final step before painting or priming. Open coat construction means the abrasive grains on our 3M™ Stikit™ Gold Disc 216U are placed with space between them to help evacuate sanding dust and other debris to avoid clogging the cutting edge of the grains. The load-resistant coating on the abrasive grains also allows the disc to continue cutting even when sanding paints and other materials that would otherwise clog the disc and hinder sanding ability. 3M™ Stikit™ disc rolls are multiple adhesive-backed abrasive discs rolled into a tube. This makes them easy to tear off one at a time for speed and efficiency, and there’s no need for liners which saves on material costs. These ready-to-use Stikit™ discs feature a pressure sensitive adhesive coating on the backs. A Stikit™ disc should be used with a 3M™ Stikit™ Disc Pad.

Suggested applications
  • Use on aluminum, carbon steel, fibreglass, gelcoat, composites, softwood, hardwood and solid surfaces
  • May also be used for AOEM finish prep/repair, blending, finishing, orbital sanding, prepping metal prior to paint, and general random orbital sanding applications
