The 3M™ Hookit™ Gold Sheet 236U is a long-life, coarse abrasive sheet used for auto body hand sanding projects. Made from aluminium oxide abrasive and durable C-weight film backing. The loading resistance is for rough featheredging or shaping plastic filler and putty. The Hookit™ attachment system saves time and maximises abrasive life.

With its open coat construction and aluminium oxide mineral abrasive, it provides a sharp cut. The Hookit™ Gold Abrasive Sheet 236U is suitable for a variety of substrates including clear coat, fiberglass, filler, metal, paint, plastic, putty and SMC. It resists dust and debris. The load-resistant coating on the abrasive grains also allows the sheet to continue cutting even when sanding paints, fillers, putties and other materials that would otherwise clog the sheet and hinder sanding ability.
