3M™ SoluPrep™ Swab 102.03 is a clear solution of 2% w/v chlorhexidine gluconate (CHG) and 70% v/v isopropyl alcohol (IPA). Indicated for skin antisepsis prior to invasive procedures, this product helps reduce bacteria on skin to diminish the risk of surgical site infection. Also available as large swab.

Not to be used on open skin wounds. Flammable, keep away from fire or flame. Do not allow solution to pool. Do not use on patients with known allergies to chlorhexidine or isopropyl alcohol. Not recommended for use on infants less than two months of age. Avoid contact with meninges, eyes, inner ears and mucous membranes as this may cause serious or permanent injury. If solution should contact these areas, rinse out promptly and thoroughly with water. Discontinue use if irritation and redness develops.
