The Scotch-Brite™ Roloc™ Coating Removal Disc features an extra coarse silicon carbide abrasive to effectively remove paint and rust from metal surfaces and welds. The disc's open web construction interspersed with abrasives helps remove coatings without gouging, undercutting, or damaging the base material, especially on hard surfaces.
The Scotch-Brite™ Roloc™ Coating Removal Disc runs cool and resists loading while covering more surface area than wire brushes. It is also safer to use as there are no wires to fly loose and the hook and loop backing holds the disc securely in place during use. The 3M™ Roloc™ TR Quick Attachment System also provides fast and easy disc change-out when performing multi-step finishing processes.
