Designed for homeowners looking to improve the quality of their water, the 3M™ Aqua-Pure™ Whole House Water Filtration System AP800 Series is an ideal solution to help protect plumbing and appliances in your 2-3 bathroom home. Featuring inlet and outlet connections and a built-in pressure relief valve, this whole house water filtration system is easy to install and allows for convenient filter changeouts. The housing is available in either opaque blue housing or transparent housing options and two sizes for homes with varying water demands. The 3M™ Aqua-Pure™ Whole House Water Filtration System AP800 Series is compatible with a variety of drop-in filters to reduce sediment, rust, scale and chlorine taste and odour with high efficiency to meet your water filtration needs.
3M™ Aqua-Pure™ Whole House Water Filtration System AP800 Series
The 3M™ Aqua-Pure™ Whole House Water Filtration System AP800 Series is designed to meet the water filtration needs of larger homes and light commercial buildings. It has 1” NPT inlet/outlet connections to allow for unrestricted flow to every water source throughout your home. The built-in pressure relief valve allows for convenient cartridge change-outs by depressurizing the housing and eliminating air from the housing when cartridge change-out is complete.

Looking to reduce sediment in your home’s water?Consider 3M’s premium performance particulate filters, 3M™ Aqua-Pure™ AP810 or AP811, for the 3M Aqua-Pure AP801B or AP801T housings. For homes with higher water demand, consider 3M Aqua-Pure AP810-2 or AP811-2 replacement filters for 3M Aqua-Pure AP802T and AP802B housings.

Looking to reduce chlorine taste and odour in your home’s water?Consider 3M’s premium performance carbon filter, 3M Aqua-Pure AP817, for the AP801B or AP801T housings. For homes with higher water demand, consider the 3M Aqua-Pure AP817-2 replacement filter for 3M Aqua-Pure AP802T and AP802B housings.
Installation
It is recommended that the 3M™ Aqua-Pure™ Whole House Water Filtration System AP800 Series is installed at the point of entry by a qualified professional. The system comes complete with a filter head, housing, housing wrench, screws and an O-ring kit with lubricant. To install, you’ll need a pipe cutter, PTFE tape, adjustable wrench, NPT threaded fittings for water supply line connections, a ground kit, and an Aqua-Pure™ filter.

1. Turn off the water.
2. Turn off the fuel or electrical power supply to the water heater.
3. Depressurize the water supply lines.

4. Remove housing.
5. Screw the adapters into the filter head.
6. Cut the cold-water pipe.

7. Install the filter head.
8. Mount the filter system.
9. Install the filter cartridge.
Pro tip: Note the installation date to help with replacement schedule.

10. Turn on the water.
11. Flush the system.
12. Turn on the fuel or electrical power supply to the water heater.
Your system is now installed and ready to use!
