A high-purity version of 3M™ Novec™ Engineered Fluid 7200, 3M™ Novec™ Engineered Fluid 7200DL is tightly-controlled for ions, metals and non-volatile residue. It is used when an application calls for high-purity materials, or a higher boiling point is desirable.

3M™ Novec™ Engineered Fluid 7200DL is used by the disk drive industry for the deposition of lubricants and lubricant additives onto hard disk media as well as for cleaning during the processing of head gimbal assemblies.
