The 3M™ Removable Repositionable Tape 666 is a clear, 3.8-mil (0.1 mm) two-sided tape on a white polyethylene liner with equal adhesive strength on both sides for reliable attachment and easy separation for repositioning or multiple openings and closings. Made with a UPVC film carrier, it has medium tack allowing for removal from many films, foils, and papers, and is ideal for applications where repositioning is desired.
Unlike many differential removable/repositionable tapes, the 3M™ Removable Repositionable Tape 666 features a permanent medium tack 3M™ Acrylic Adhesive 400 on the liner side and 3M™ Acrylic Adhesive 1070 on the face side. 3M™ Acrylic Adhesive 400 has good temperature performance and peel strength and is ideal for bonding together a wide variety of similar and dissimilar materials such as metals, glass, wood, papers, paints, and many plastics. 3M™ Repositionable Acrylic Adhesive 1070 holds well to many surfaces and provides easy removal.
