3M™ Double Coated Adhesive Tape L1+DCP is a 3.5-mil (0.09 mm) two-sided tape with a polyester carrier for added dimensional stability and improved handling during laminating or die cutting, particularly with thin or flexible substrates. It is recommended for lamination to many open and closed cell foams.

Designed for difficult bonding applications, 3M™ Double Coated Adhesive Tape L1+DCP features 1.5 mil (0.04 mm) of adhesive on each side of a 0.50 mil (0.01 mm) PET carrier. Withstanding temperatures of up to 200°F / 93°C , this 3.5 mil (0.09 mm) tape delivers high peel performance and bonds well to polyurethane (PU) foam, cross linked polyethylene (PE) foam and microcellular urethane foam. The L1 adhesive platform features a modified acrylic adhesive with good initial tack and peel adhesion to many open cell foam substrates. All L1 constructions feature a white 74# densified kraft (DK) liner for excellent processing.
