The 3M™ Double Coated Tape 96042 is a 5-mil (0.13 mm), two-sided tape ideal for single liner applications. It has excellent solvent resistance and high temperature performance with strong quick stick and adhesion build over time.

Designed with good initial quick stick, the 3M™ Double Coated Tape 96042 is built with a white, polyethylene terephthalate (PET) liner and a silicone adhesive on both sides of a clear, PET carrier. This silicone adhesive provides high bond strength to most silicones and difficult to bond to substrates, including silicone rubbers and foams. The strength of this quick stick adhesive builds over time while offering exceptional temperature performance. Its solvent resistant properties add durability and resilience.
