3M™ Double Coated Differential Adhesive Tape L2+DCP is a 6.7-mil (0.17 mm) two-sided tape that offers maximum conformability and good adhesion to open and closed cell foam surfaces.
3M™ Double Coated Polyester Adhesive Tape L2+DCP features 6.5 mils (.017 mm) of adhesive coated on a 6.2 mils (.14 mm), 83 lb (37.6 kg) polycoated kraft paper liner and a .5 mil (0.01 mm) PET carrier. This double coated tape is recommended where dimensional stability is valued over adhesive conformability and wet out during lamination. It offers initial high tack to many open and closed cell foams and can withstand temperatures up to 225°F (107°C). With excellent peel adhesion and shear strength, it offers a reliable bond on polyurethane (PU) ether, cross linked polyethylene foam, EPDM foam, neoprene foam, nitrile foam, and microcellular foam.
