The 3M™ Removable Repositionable Tape 9416 is a repositionable, 2.6-mil (0.07 mm) tape with a permanent adhesive on the face side, and a removable repositionable adhesive on the back side, allowing for repositioning or multiple openings and closings.

The 3M™ Removable Repositionable Tape 9416 delivers flexibility for projects requiring repositioning and adjustment true adaptability for less than permanent applications. This 2.0 mil (0.05 mm) removable repositionable double coated tape features a light tissue carrier with permanent 3M™ Acrylic Adhesive 400 on the tight side and removable/repositionable 3M™ Repositionable Acrylic Adhesive 1000 on the easy side. This low tack repositionable adhesive allows for removal without adhesive residue from many flexible materials such as films, foils, and papers, and will not cause delamination from most paper stock. In many cases this repositionable side can be reused numerous times.
