Highlights
  • Low viscosity fluoroelastomer (FKM) suitable for use in injection and transfer molding
  • Proprietary incorporated cure technology may help save time and increase throughput
  • Improved mould release properties and better cure response to higher molding temperatures
  • Can be used as a viscosity modifier

3M™ Dyneon™ Fluoroelastomer FE 5610 is a low viscosity copolymer of vinylidene fluoride and hexafluoropropylene with 66% fluorine. This fluoroelastomer (FKM) has proprietary incorporated cure technology that may help save time and increase throughput.

3M™ Dyneon™ Fluoroelastomer FE 5610 can be compounded using standard water cooled internal mixers or two-roll mills with standard fillers and ingredients utilized in typical fluoroelastomer formulations. The dry ingredients should be blended before adding to the masticated gum.
