3M™ Dyneon™ PTFE TF 2021Z is a PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) fine powder paste extrusion resin with a high molecular weight. Produced by emulsion polymerization, this material has low friction behaviour, excellent chemical inertness, high flame retardance, exceptional temperature resistance, and very good electrical properties.
3M™ Dyneon™ PTFE TF 2021Z is the preferred grade for unsintered thread sealing tapes, electrical tapes for wrapped wire and cable insulations, expanded joint sealings, and middle-sized tubings with relatively high green strength. Additionally, this material can be highly stretched without breakage.
