3M™ Dyneon™ Fluoroelastomer FT 2481 is composed of terpolymer of vinylidene fluoride, hexafluoropropylene, and tetrafluoroethylene; it is well-suited for compression moulding operations. With high fluorine content, it offers improved acid resistance, and resistance to volume swell by organic solvents, compared with conventional 66% fluorine fluoropolymers.

3M™ Dyneon™ Fluoroelastomer FT 2481 is a terpolymer gumstock without incorporated curatives. It can be compounded using standard water cooled internal mixers or two-roll mills with standard fillers and ingredients utilized in typical fluoroelastomer formulations. The dry ingredients should be blended before adding to the masticated gum.
