3M™ Tandem Spring Roller Tool helps technicians ensure consistent wet out of 3M™ Acrylic Foam Tape. This tape roller features a spring-loaded brake that allows the 100 mm wide roller to operate only when sufficient pressure is applied. The spring can be tuned by 3M for specific OEM applications to ensure consistent 15 PSI at bondline for optimal adhesion and appearance.

The 3M™ Tandem Spring Roller is designed to ensure you get the tape on correctly the first time. This lightweight, easy-to-use tool is specifically designed for use with 3M™ Acrylic Foam Tapes. It features a smooth handle shaped for a secure grip and balance between two smooth-operating rollers. A spring-loaded, clutch-style brake holds the front in place when not in use. It allows the roller to turn freely when the operator applies the correct pressure on the spring. This generates a consistent 15 PSI at the bondline, helping to ensure optimal wet out of the foam acrylic tape adhesive to the automotive substrate. The rear roller turns freely and provides excellent stability for applications where horizontal control is vital for maximum adhesion and a sharp, professional appearance. The clutch roller can be pre-tuned by 3M to match specific OEM specifications.
