3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Stainless Steel High Temperature Pipe Sealant is an off-white, fast-curing, paste pipe sealant. Offering high temperature resistance up to 400°F (204°C), this sealant provides a strong, tough seal that can be easily disassembled. This high-temperature pipe sealant is also formulated to resist pressure and vibration for long-lasting durability.
3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Stainless Steel High Temperature Pipe Sealant is a single-component, anaerobic sealant that cures and seals hydraulic and pneumatic pipes and fittings. This general-purpose, paste pipe sealant is fast-curing, sealing almost instantly, and withstands high temperatures and pressure. We also designed this sealant for disassembly, creating a strong, tough seal that can be later disassembled with ease. This sealant is formulated to resist pressure and vibration as well as lock and seal medium to coarse straight and tapered threads. 3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Stainless Steel High Temperature Pipe Sealant works on inactive surfaces (such as stainless steel) and provides an almost instant low-pressure seal. A high-pressure seal results when the bond is fully cured. It seals quickly to stop leaks when applied to threads or compression fittings of most metal and certain plastic pipes, without shredding, evaporation, or shrinkage. In addition, this sealant prevents galling as well as helps eliminate the waste and mess of leaking hydraulic fluids, oil, fuel, and lubricants. Offering a rapid seal that withstands heat, pressure, and vibration, 3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Stainless Steel High Temperature Pipe Sealant is an excellent solution for fast results.
