3M™ Silicone Release Liner 4986 is a clear, high density polyethylene (HDPE) liner with a silicone release coating on one side. This 3.0 mil (0.07 mm) release liner is designed for applications such as thermoforming, where stability and heat resistance are required. The silicone coating is suitable for use with a wide variety of adhesive types.
3M™ Silicone Release Liner 4986 is a 3.0 mil (0.07 mm) thick release liner comprised of a high density polyethylene material coated with a silicone coating on one side. Polyethylene material is durable and stable, excellent for applications where parts will be thermoformed. The coating is designed to provide a non-stick surface used in various applications in conjunction with other adhesive transfer tapes and converter solutions.
