3M™ Tabbing and Splicing Tape 5699 is designed for use with 3M™ Acrylic Plus Tapes. It consists of a silicone adhesive on a polyester backing.

3M™ Tabbing and Splicing Tape 5699 is a pressure-sensitive adhesive-backed film that provides a strong bond to 3M™ Acrylic Foam Tapes. This tape provides a reliable means of liner removal in a production environment. It also provides high tack and good strength to liners and can be used for manual applications without special equipment. 3M™ Tabbing and Splicing Tape 5699 can be used to produce under tabs (by placing the tab between the liner and tape), resulting in a more robust tabbing solution.
