3M™ Nextel™ Sewing Thread 312 is made from Nextel™ 312 High Temperature Continuous Ceramic Oxide Fibre. To impart resiliency, abrasion resistance and improved sewability,it is wrapped with rayon fibre. The sewing thread is designed to maintain flexibility and strength at high temperatures where stitching, sewing or quilting are needed.

3M™ Nextel™ Sewing Thread 312 is made from Nextel™ 312 Continuous Filament Ceramic Oxide Fibre combined with other supporting materials; these materials are designed to be strong and flexible enough to be sewn under specialized sewing conditions while maintaining strength and flexibility for service under a variety of high temperature conditions. It may be useful for electrical or thermal insulating items that require stitched, quilted or sewn connections such as blankets, pillows and articles that are often filled with high temperature bulk fibre/insulation products.
