3M™ Nextel™ Fabric AF-30 is woven from 3M™ Nextel™ 312 High Temperature Continuous Ceramic Oxide Yarn that is designed to maintain strength and flexibility under a variety of extremely high temperature conditions. It outperforms the useful limits of other high temperature textiles for improved performance in demanding applications.
The 3M™ Nextel™ Fabric AF-30 is woven from 3M™ Nextel™ 312 High Temperature Continuous Ceramic Oxide Yarn. Due to the properties of the fibre, this product outperforms the useful temperature limits of many other textiles, is medium weight, electrically insulating and flexible. It has medium-high air permeability and is often used as a component in thermal barrier constructions. It is used in combination with other 3M™ Nextel™ Products such as sewing thread and high temperature materials such as bulk fibre/insulation products to construct thermal barrier components.
