3M™ Acrylic Foam Tape 4225, White, 3.18 mm

3M™ Acrylic Foam Tape 4225 is designed for good adhesion, increased stress handling and flexibility for attaching parts to contoured substrates. A 3.18 mm thick viscoelastic acrylic foam core provides stress relaxation when exposed to high application loads, and maintains tight bond-line aesthetics under normal conditions. Acrylic adhesive delivers excellent final tack, peel and shear strength.

Developed specifically for a full range of automotive substrates, 3M™ Acrylic Foam Tape 4225 is ideal for attaching parts such as side body moldings, rocker panel moldings and other parts requiring a combination of flexibility and stress handling. This tape features a 3.18 mm viscoelastic acrylic foam core which provides excellent conformability and wet-out, ideal for consistent attachment around contours. An acrylic adhesive applied to both sides delivers high initial tack, rapid build and excellent final adhesion as well as high shear and peel strength.
