3M™ Acrylic Plus Tape EX4008

3M™ Acrylic Plus Tape EX4008, Black, 0.76 mm is a pressure-sensitive double-coated acrylic foam tape with a polyethylene liner and silicone coating on both sides. It is designed for robust performance on difficult automotive paint surfaces. The viscoelastic foam core provides stress relaxation when exposed to high application loads and maintains tight bond-line aesthetics under normal conditions.

3M™ Acrylic Plus Tape EX4008, Black, 0.76 mm is developed specifically for attaching exterior trim and other parts to automotive paint surfaces. It features two different adhesives applied to a 0.76 mm acrylic foam core. The liner side adhesive is formulated for very high initial and final adhesion for scratch- and mar-resistant paint systems. The non-liner side is designed for high initial adhesion to a variety and automotive substrates and coatings. The viscoelastic acrylic foam core adapts well to complex shapes and features excellent wet-out properties and stress relaxation during high loads. The black colour of 3M™ Acrylic Plus Tape EX4008 ensures inconspicuous bond-line appearance. The red, 3M branded liner is silicone-coated on both sides to provide an easy one-piece release and efficient tape application.
