3M™ Acrylic Plus Tape PT1100T

3M™ Acrylic Plus Tape PT1100T features two adhesives, one on each side of a viscoelastic acrylic foam core, designed for robust performance even on complex contours and difficult automotive paint surfaces. Core provides stress relaxation when exposed to high application loads, and maintains tight bond-line aesthetics under normal conditions. T-liner is suitable for PSA and heat tabbing methods.

Developed specifically for attaching rigid exterior trim and other parts to automotive substrates, the 3M™ Acrylic Plus Tape PT1100T features a 1.14 mm acrylic foam core with two different adhesives. Liner-side adhesive is formulated for very high initial and final adhesion to scratch and mar-resistant paint systems. The non-liner-side adhesive is excellent for bonding to automotive trim and other components. The viscoelastic foam core conforms well even to complex geometries. It is engineered for stress relaxation when exposed to high-stress loads and maintains bond-line aesthetics under normal stress loads. The inconspicuous black colour of 3M™ Acrylic Plus Tape PT1100T helps ensure high satisfaction among consumers. Features a red, 3M branded, removable 2 mils (0.05 mm) thick liner with PE on one side, that allows for heat bond tabbing to the tape.
